Our commitment to the earth
For the Kazakh nomadic culture, sustainability was never a trend.
It was a way of life.
In the Eurasian steppes, people lived in symbiosis with nature. Nomadic communities relied on what the land offered—to build shelters, protect themselves from the cold, survive—aware that everything born from the earth, sooner or later, returns to the earth. A circular vision that shaped not only their way of living, but also their values.
Our artisans work at the slow pace of manual labor, transforming what the earth offers into creations that are never identical, because every knot in the wood, every nuance of the wool, tells a unique story. For us, sustainability is not just about materials, but also about human value: we support those who pass on ancient knowledge, promote local communities, and foster an ethical economy.
We choose wood, wool, and natural fibers from controlled supply chains, processed with methods that minimize environmental impact. Each piece is born from a conscious approach, far removed from the logic of disposable goods, and designed to last over time.
Choosing Yurta means entering a virtuous circle where the home becomes part of a larger ecosystem: a welcoming space that preserves memory, protects the present, and looks to the future with responsibility.
